Afterwork Shopping
More than 300 shops spread over 5 districts stay open until 8 p.m. every Thursday, creating new shopping circuits in the city. So conference participants, tourists and Brussels residents can take their time and do their shopping after their day of sightseeing or working. Not to mention some welcoming aperitifs and numerous gifts to be won.

Villa Empain
This Art Deco gem which was slumbering on avenue Roosevelt has been brought back to life by the impressive restoration work carried out by the Boghossian Foundation. The valuable wood panelling, the wrought ironwork and the mirrored marble have been restored to their full splendour. Dedicated to the dialogue between the cultures of the Far East and the West, Villa Empain can also be especially hired for private use and host up-market cocktail parties and gala dinners.

Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM 8)
04>05/10/2010 @ Palais des Académies, SQUARE Brussels Meetings Centre, Palais Royal, BOZAR
The 8th Asia-Europe Summit brought together in Brussels the leading heads of State from both continents and was held at three key sites: the Royal Palace, Bozar and Square. It was a great success and a fine demonstration of Brussels’ ability to put in place unrivalled security services.
